Apple verbessert iMac

29.04.2008, Apple hat heute seine Modellreihe des All-in-One Desktop- Computers iMac aktualisiert. Ausgestattet mit den neuesten Intel Core 2 Duo Prozessoren und der schnellsten, je in einem iMac verbauten Grafikkarte ist der iMac bereits ab CHF 1'499.- erhältlich. Der iMac beinhaltet Prozessoren mit bis zu 6 MB L2 Cache und über die gesamte Produktlinie hinweg einen schnelleren 1066 MHz Front-side Bus sowie 2 GB RAM als Standardarbeitsspeicher in nahezu allen Modellen. Der 24-Zoll iMac bietet ab sofort einen 3,06 GHz Intel Prozessor und optional die NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS Grafikkarte - der iMac ist somit noch mehr als ultimativer All-in-One Desktop-Computer sowohl für den normalen als auch den professionellen Anwender geeignet.
